Pushing the limits of how many elements one person can control live, States of Being is a blending of intimate EDM, classical, and ambient music, with immersive lighting and audio reactive visualizations. The show seamlessly marries behind-the-scenes technical wizardry with multi-layered piano, synthesizer, and electric guitar performances, all without the use of loops or pre-recorded samples.

Closing In, the opening piece of States of Being, is my proposed performance piece for the DramaEtMusica Mini Festival. It explores tension, euphoria, and reaching for the unachievable, slowly building to a blinding climax and burnout. A work-in-progress, I will be incorporating sound reactive and midi controlled visualizations with TouchDesigner in addition to the lighting cues.
